Like, right in front of my friend and her other bitchy annoying gossipy friend. She thinks im too skinny. Wtf? Can she not see my chunky thighs? The rolls of fat between my ass and my legs? Does she not see my stupid tummy poking out, not quite flat? I dont want her to tell my dad. Thats really all i care about. So i lied and said it was because of new meds and that im going to the doc regularly and they know that im at an okay weight. Hopefully she wont say anything else.
RECOVERY INSPIRATION OF THE DAY: PORTIA DE ROSSI
Portia de Rossi has fought her eating disorder since becoming a model at a young age. She dealt with it all - bingeing, purging, and restricting, and really hurt herself. She made herself absolutely miserable. However, now she is in such a healthy place. She has come to terms with her sexuality, an issue that played into her ED, and she has a wonderful, loving wife and dogs to take care of. Portia fought through SO much to get to the place where she is now. She has been brave, speaking out about her struggles through interviews and through her autobiography. I do not recommend her autobiography to anyone in recovery, as it is extremely triggering. Portia is speaking out on behalf of people struggling with EDs, and she is so much happier, more successful, and more loved now than when she was at her lowest weight. In fact, she met her wife at her HIGHEST weight, and Ellen fell in love with Portia still, because size is not as important as spirit and heart, and being a larger size does not mean that you are bad or worthless. Portia is one of my recovery inspirations - I hope to one day be able to tell my story and give it a happy ending like she has.

ive never felt more proud of myself in my life, and thats pretty sickening. i know im technicly underweight, but i look athletic, not sickly. so why would someone stick that in my locker?
